SADNESS
Sadness is a shadow that slowly descended,
A veil that covers the heart and mind.
A burden that weighs a pain that remains,
A tear that falls silent and slow.
Sadness is a silence that envelops,
A void that seems endless.
A cry that remains inside, unexpressed,
A pain that finds no peace.
But even in sadness, there is a light,
A ray of hope that does not go out.
An opportunity to reflect,
A moment to find yourself.
Sadness is an emotion,
An experience that all know.
But we must not let ourselves be overwhelmed,
Must find the strength to move forward.

ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലും ഇറ്റാലിയിലും കവിതകളും കഥകളും എഴുതുന്ന ഉഷാ ജോർജ്, ‘സോളോ അമോറിസ് ‘, ‘ഹൃദയ സ്പന്ദനം’ എന്നീ കഥാ സമാഹാരങ്ങളും ‘പൂനിലാവ്’ എന്ന കവിതാ സമാഹാരവും ‘ചിന്തയുടെ ചിന്തേരുകൾ’ എന്ന ലേഖന സമാഹാരവും പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
